The post is a bit late in the day, but for today's music selection, we are heading into techno territory. I picked this song as my first techno entry for 3 reasons:
It's techno and techno is pretty much made for running. And dancing. The only downside is that it could possibly make you run too fast. That is certainly a problem we don't have around here.
The song is called Don't Give Up. So not only does it have a great beat, but it's also super motivational.
The techno-ized voice singing the few lyrics that appear are by Bryan Adams. Seriously. Bryan Adams, who has turned out to be one of those rockers that gets better looking with age.
1980's
Nowadays. Nothing more motivating than a little salt and pepper older man.
I feel bad mentioning that the song is actually performed (and Bryan Adams' voice was techno-ized) by Chicane, a British music act which I know nothing else about. Sorry Chicane, but love this song.
